Here, you can release tension, ease stress, and rediscover a sense of balance and strength — physically, emotionally, and mentally. The presence of our therapy horses adds a unique layer to the practice. Their calm, grounding energy creates an environment where co-regulation happens naturally — supporting mindfulness, emotional awareness, and a deeper sense of connection to yourself and the present moment. You’ll move, breathe, and meditate surrounded by these gentle beings, whose quiet presence enhances your sense of ease, focus, and inner strength.

What To Expect
Pilates in the Paddock is a restorative and empowering morning, guided by certified Pilates instructor, Melinda, and supported by the honest, grounding presence of the horses at Finding Clarity Counselling.
When you arrive, you’ll be welcomed into the calm, grounding energy of our paddock and therapy herd. Each 45‑minute session blends mindful Pilates movement, breathwork, and meditation in a way that’s accessible and adaptable for all levels.
You’ll move in ways that build strength, flexibility, and alignment, settle into breathwork that supports nervous system regulation, and finish with a moment of grounding that leaves you feeling centred, calm, and at ease in your body.
Expect gentle progression, a nurturing environment, and an experience that balances effort with ease — all in the presence of beings who help soothe, regulate, and mirror your emotional state.

Meet Melinda
Melinda, founder of Body Heart Alchemy, brings a compassionate, mindful approach to movement and wellbeing. With training as a certified Pilates instructor, she blends strength, awareness, breath, and presence into every session she leads. Her work honours the body’s innate capacity for resilience and connection, encouraging people to explore movement as a way to feel more embodied, confident, and at ease.
Drawing on her commitment to inclusive, intentional practice, Mel creates a safe, welcoming space where participants of all abilities and backgrounds can feel seen and supported. Mel supports clients to build core and glute strength, improve mobility and flexibility, and cultivate a deeper connection to their bodies.
Mel's experience and sensitivity allow her to meet you where you are — whether you’re new to mindful movement or rekindling your connection to it — guiding you toward greater strength, clarity, and connection within yourself.

At Finding Clarity Counselling, we take a holistic approach to wellbeing — honouring the connection between body, mind, and spirit. Horses are deeply attuned, sentient beings, naturally aware and fully present.
In the herd, their hearts synchronise, guiding one another into calm, rhythm & regulation. When we enter their space, they offer us the same — a quiet invitation to slow down, soften, and reconnect with our own flow.
During Pilates in the Paddock, the herd attunes to you. As you move, breathe, and stretch, and embrace your body, the horses support your nervous system, helping tension release and your body to regulate naturally. When you settle into meditation at the end, the horses come alongside you, holding a space of safety, presence, and grounding.
